This course teaches and hones fundamental rifle handling and marksmanship skills. Topics include: Rifle Handling, Clearing, Loading and Unloading, Zero Fundamentals (different ranges and which is right for you), Marksmanship Fundamentals, Malfunctions, Reloads and more. You'll need: Eyes and Ears, 250 rounds (NO STEEL CORE), Two Magazines, Sling (preferable but not absolutely required).
This course is designed for AR-15 (and other sport/tactical carbines) owners who want push their skill level with rifle handling and marksmanship in dynamic and stressful scenarios. Relevant to self defense, tactical and competition applications. You'll need: Eyes and Ears, 300 rounds, Sling, at least Two Magazines, One Magazine Holder. You may run any competition or tactical rig you choose, or simply run the course slick (Lo-Vis).
This course focuses on marksmanship and gun handling/manipulation in low/no light, you must first have the technical/mechanical skill to employ your pistol in low-light conditions before you can effectively navigate various real-world, tactical or scenario-based problems. Topics Include: Hand-Held vs. Pistol Mounted Lights, Light Manipulation, One Handed Firing Techniques, Multiple Target Engagement and more. You'll need: Eyes (Clear or Amber Only, No Shades), Ears, 250 rounds, Holster, Two Magazines, at least One Mag Holder, Hand-Held Flashlight AND/OR Pistol Mounted Light (we will train extensively on both), Head Lamp is recommended but not required.
This is a fast-paced, tactically oriented training event. Focus, as always, will be practical/tactical applications of the fundamentals. We'll execute several movement and manipulation tasks and drills. You may bring any tactical kit that you may work in or expect to use practically. You may also run the course slick (Lo-Vis) if you're not a gear junkie. You'll need: Eyes and Ears, 250 rounds Carbine, 200 rounds Pistol, Holster, Sling, 2 Magazines Minimum for each Gun, Knee Pads are recommended, Hat or Neck Scarf is recommended (outdoor range). Tourniquet is recommended.
This course is designed for practical, realistic application of fundamental firearms skills by average citizens who may, one day, find themselves in a harm’s way. Qualifies for Concealed Carry permit. Outdoor open forum discussion covering: Concealed Handgun Permit Application, Firearm and Weapons Related Statutes, Universal Rules of Firearm Safety, Holster Characteristics, Common Carry Positions, Pistol Characteristics, Ammunition Characteristics and Live-Fire practical work. You'll receive an 8-hour certificate of training and we'll e-mail you a detailed Pistol Fundamentals presentation in PDF format. You'll need to bring: Eye and Ear protection, 250 rounds, Holster (your daily concealed holster is recommended), at least Two Magazines, at least One Magazine Holder. This is an outdoor event. You should consider, sun block, a hat or scarf, water, etc.
